Ghiaie è un film che narra una storia vera, quella delle apparizioni alla piccola Adelaide Roncalli nel Maggio del 1944 durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Le cronache di quei giorni (incluso il mensile cattolico Famiglia Cristiana qui sopra riprodotto), trascritte in decine di giornali e libri, narrano di 13 apparizioni che si succedettero tra il 13 ed il 31 Maggio del 1944 in una piccola località sulle rive del fiume Brembo denominata appunto Ghiaie. La bambina aveva sette anni. Sono universalmente riconosciute, da importati religiosi e teologi della chiesa, come le apparizioni che hanno concluso il ciclo epifanico di Fatima in Portogallo. La Chiesa locale e universale non le ha mai riconosciute, definendo la piccola veggente una bugiarda, ma un fatto avvenuto il 20 luglio del 1944 è la prova tangibile della loro veridicità, la bambina riferì che la guerra sarebbe finita quel giorno, il giorno dell' attentato a Hitler e del colpo di stato in Germania denominato Operazione Walkiria. La Madonna apparse come Regina della Famiglia accompaganta da San Giuseppe e Gesù Bambino. Recentemente il Vescovo di Bergamo, Beschi Francesco, riconfermando la non veridicità delle apparizioni, ha però elevato il luogo al culto mariano alla Regina della Famiglia. La guerra non finì perchè qualcuno tradì ....

Ghiaie is a film that tells a true story, that of the apparitions to the little Adelaide Roncalli in May 1944 during the Second World War. The chronicles of those days (including the Catholic monthly Famiglia Famiglia Cristiana reproduced above), transcribed in dozens of newspapers and books, tell of 13 apparitions that took place between 13 and 31 May 1944 in a small town on the banks of the Brembo river called Ghiaie. The girl was seven years old. They are universally recognized, by important religious and theologians of the church, as the apparitions that concluded the epiphanic cycle of Fatima in Portugal. The local and universal Church has never recognized them, calling the little seer a liar, but an event that took place on 20 July 1944 is tangible proof of their truthfulness, the girl reported that the war would end that day, the day of attack on Hitler and the coup in Germany called Operation Walkiria. The Madonna appeared as Queen of the Family accompanied by St. Joseph and the Child Jesus. Recently the Bishop of Bergamo, Francesco Beschi, reconfirming the non-truthfulness of the apparitions, however, raised the place to the Marian cult to the Queen of the Family. The war did not end because someone betrayed ....
