Ghiaie è un film che narra una storia vera, quella delle apparizioni alla piccola Adelaide Roncalli nel Maggio del 1944 durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Il soggetto e la sceneggiatura sono tratte dalle cronache di quei giorni, trascritte in decine di libri che hanno come tema il messaggio che queste rivelazioni soprannaturali volevano trasmettere all' umanità.
E' una produzione indipendente, totalmente italiana, realizzata in circa sei mesi di lavoro tra il dicembre 2007 e maggio 2008, con riprese effettuate in Liguria ed in Piemonte con un cast di attori nuovi al cinema e non professionisti principalmente bambini. Sono stati girati migliaia e migliaia minuti di riprese per 130 minuti di film.

Ghiaie is a film that tells a true story, that of the apparitions to the little Adelaide Roncalli in May 1944 during the Second World War. The subject and the script are taken from the chronicles of those days, transcribed in dozens of books that have as their theme the message that these supernatural revelations wanted to convey to humanity.
It is an independent production, totally Italian, realized in about six months of work between December 2007 and May 2008, with shots taken in Liguria and Piedmont with a cast of new actors at the cinema and non-professionals, mainly children. Thousands and minutes of footage were shot for 130 minutes of film.
